PSA Web Site Features: PSA GalleriesIt would be difficult to think of a photography organization web site without photo galleries, and the PSA web site is no exception. There are many galleries that display the images that received Awards and HMs for various PSA competitions; however, the highlight is the four galleries where members can share their photography with others. PSA New Member Gallery: Individuals joining PSA are invited to submit one of their favorite images to this online gallery. The images are posted every day, in the gallery for that month. Some of the recent images are selected for the rotating gallery. PSA Member Galleries: Each PSA member can create a gallery of twenty images and a short biography with a link to their personal web gallery. The PSA Member Galleries can be searched by clicking on the first letter of a member's last name. PSA members who have not created a Member Gallery are encouraged to Create a Gallery to have their own gallery. ROPA Galleries: When a PSA Member earns a PSA Distinction (i.e., PPSA, EPSA, MPSA, GMPSA), the member is invited to submit three to six of their recent award winning images for a ROPA Gallery. ROPA stands for Recognition of Photographic Achievement. The member also submits a biography describing their photography interests and service to PSA. These biographies are often used by members to provide their credentials when judging. There is a ROPA Gallery for each Distinction. ROPA recipients’ images are displayed in the gallery for the highest Distinction they have received. Show Your Stuff Gallery: When PSA members renew their membership for year two, they are invited to have an image in the Show Your Stuff Gallery. If a member joins for multiple years, they can submit an image to the gallery when they begin their second year.
