Web Site Tools: Helpful HintsFinding InformationThere are many different ways to find information on the PSA web site. Primarily, the user can move their mouse along the menu (navigation bars) on the left side of each page and see the pullout menus of what is available in each section. Further pointing into the menus (to the right) will dig deeper into each section. A click on the menu item desired will bring up that page. The viewer can also click the Site Map link located in the upper-right above the banner of every page. This will produce a comprehensive page of links, organized by section, to glance over and find the page needed. Each major section features an Overview page. Click on the Overview to see a description of the content and links to relevant pages in that section. Sometimes these links may be located within other sections as a cross-reference for related information. Also at the top right of every page above the banner there is a Search box. Type in a few words that describe what is being searched and click the "Go" button to search the entire web site for those terms. The Search page under Site Tools has additional information and instructions. If the needed information still cannot be found, contact the Webmaster. Adjusting Font sizeIf the font on the pages is to small to read easily, use the font resize controls located at the bottom of of the left menu (navigation) column. Clicking "A+" will increase the font size and clicking "A-" will reduce it. Clicking "Ao" will reset to the default font size. The preference is stored in a browser cookie so it does not have to be changed on every page. Browser Window SizeThe browser window size can be increased up to the maximum of the viewer's monitor. Beyond that the viewer needs to change the maximum resolution in the Operating System (Windows, OSX) to be larger, and then go back and adjust the window size. Saving a PasswordIt is suggested that for ease of use, members save their password during first login. If there is no pop-up asking to save the password, that can be browser specific or user specific. First, the browser has to support saving a password (most browsers do). Second, it has to be able to set a cookie to save a password. If the user has cookies blocked, it won't work. Broken links and Pages not foundWhile every effort is made to keep up with these, things change often and occasionally an old link is missed. If you notice a link that does not work or produces and error message, please contact the Webmaster and be sure to include as much detail as possible - what page you were on, what results you are seeing and what browser you are using. Mobile UsersMobile users are used to seeing all sorts of odd effects because not that many web sites are truly "mobilized." The PSA web site is not optimized for mobile use as yet, so mobile users should "zoom in" and navigate carefully.
