Activity Summary
|
The Stereo Card Study Group sends around a box in which each person places one of their stereographs in a sleeve with technical data and a place for comments. When a member gets the box they make comments on all the other cards in the box, removes their old card and replaces it with a new card, and lets the director know (via email or provided postcard) that they have the box and an estimate of when it will be moved along to the next person. When done, the box is sent to the next person who does the same. This way, each time a member gets the box they have an entirely new set of stereographs to view and comment on. Typically, each person keeps the box for up to one week before sending it on to the next member. A box usually comes around 1 - 2 times a year. We will be starting a second box once the first gets to the half-way point so that the frequency of a box visit is increased somewhat without becoming too regular for people to keep up with. Anyone who is a member of PSA can join the circuit by contacting the director with their name and mailing address and they they will be placed in the rotation. The director supplies the envelopes for placing stereographs in. |
