Recognition: PSA Progress Medal
The Progress Medal, PSA's highest award, is presented each year during the Honors Banquet at the PSA Annual Conference. The Progress Medal recognizes a person who has made an outstanding contribution to the progress of photography or an allied subject. The recipient does not have to be a member of the Society.
The Progress Medal Committee is composed of five PSA members who serve five-year terms. The President appoints one member each year and the most senior member of the Committee is the Chair. The Progress Medal Committee reports to the President.
