PPD Print of the Month (POM): October 2012Holly Moore, of Georgetown, TX, won this month with her First Place Color Print, Waiting for the Mail. This month's judge, Barbara E Miller FPSA MPSA explained her choice this way: "Although a very mundane subject, the angle at which it is taken is what makes the picture and I applaud Holly's imagination in creating this angle. The clouds are undefined, creating a soft background. The foreground adds considerably to the overall image and the fact that some of the flowers are not tack sharp is of little consequence since their presence adds emphasis to the mediocrity of the mailboxes which are the main subject."
