PPSA Gallery: Jim Tarbox, PPSA
Jim Tarbox is from Cornwall, UK. He took up photography in 2006 when he attended several photography courses at the local collage. He joined his local photographic club in 2007 where his interest and knowledge grew, especially in photographing nature/wildlife, and he then joined the Cornwall Wildlife Trust Photographic group. Jim joined PSA in 2010 and quickly gained PSA Star ratings in six PSA Divisions. He has participated in over 200 International Exhibitions, gained over 1,500 acceptances, and earned numerous ribbons and medals (a Gold Medal in 2011). He earned the PPSA Distinction in 2012. Jim’s interests in photography are varied, but he most enjoys land/seascapes, nature and any sporting event. He enters competitions to compare his photographic skill with others and gain knowledge from others. Jim feels that gaining any photographic distinction is a personal indicator of how his photographic ability is doing within the Photographic world.
