In September 2010 Michael was appointed the 2nd Vice Chairman of the Nature Division of PSA. He administered the PSA International Nature Print Exhibition in 2010 and the 1st Everglades Exhibition in 2011.
Michael has been a judge in several PSA-recognized International Exhibitions, both in the United States and Africa. He serves as a judge and presenter at camera clubs in the south Florida area, as well as presenter at other local venues. For several years he has volunteered teaching a three-day workshop in "birds in motion" photography at the Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge. Living in Florida, Michael's nature photography is focused on bird life, though in three trips to southern Africa since 2008 he has learned to enjoy focusing on all sorts of animal life in the wild.
