PPSA Gallery: Paul Davis, PPSA
Paul Davis was born in Stroud, Gloucestershire in England. He joined the Royal Air Force in 1986, travelling around the United Kingdom during his service. He became interested in photography after receiving a point-and-shoot camera for Christmas in 2004. Through feedback on photography websites his interest became a passion and within a year he had upgraded to a dSLR. Whilst stationed in Cornwall, Paul joined the Camborne and Redruth Camera Club, and was soon promoted to the Advanced level. Two years later he was posted to Northumberland and joined the Alnwick Camera Club. He joined PSA in October 2010 when he started in earnest entering International Exhibitions. That December he moved to a NATO role in Denmark where he joined the local Camera Club in Viborg. Paul will be returning to the UK. Paul's Falkland Islands photographs showcased in the July 2010 issue of “Practical Photography.” In 2011 he earned over 700 acceptances in PSA-recognized exhibitions, winning 16 medals and 45 Honourable Mentions. His main photography interests are landscapes and wildlife, but he enjoys trying his hands at other genres.
