Then in 2001, he restarted his competitive spirit and achieved the MPSA distinction in 2011.
In Hong Kong, he is renowned as a medical specialist and a promoter of photography. He has contributed to local photo clubs and societies as Exhibition chairman, vice president, and President of the Photographic Society of Exhibitors Association from 1978-1981.
Dr. Siu has been a member of PSA since 1970 and has entertained many PSA members traveling to Hong Kong. In 1982 he was elected FPSA. He attained the Fellowship of Royal Photographic Society in 1976, EFIAP in 1977, and was listed as a Top Ten Monochrome exhibitor in PSA’s Who’s Who fourteen times including First place in 1973 and 1975.
He has been known to say that photography brings him much pleasure and satisfaction, and broadens his social circles, which makes him a very “rich” man.
