MPSA Gallery: Joachim W. Dettmer, FPSA, MPSA
Joachim was the 2006 recipient of the PSA IUTP Award (International Understanding Through Photography). Between 1996 and 2000 Joachim was appointed a Board Member and FIAP Liaison for the German Federation for Photography as well as PSA’s International Representative for Germany. Joachim’s work regularly appears in publications in the international photo and daily press, in books, calendars, advertising, and in the world wide web. He receives special invitations to annuals, collections, and museums. His photo-preferences are Artistic Photography and Photojournalism.

Joachim Dettmer is from Pulheim, Germany. He joined PSA in 1981 and since that time he has had about 6,000 pictures at International Exhibitions in 50 countries and has received about 700 awards, including many PSA Gold Medals. He has been awarded more than 30 International Honors and Honorary Memberships by Photo Societies around the world. He received his Master FIAP in 1997 and his FPSA in 2006. He receives regular Invitations to Special Exhibitions and Jury Sessions.
