EPSA Gallery: Marcel van Balken, EPSA

Marcel van Balken is from the Netherlands and he joined PSA in 2006. In 2008 he received the ‘Proficiency’ distinction (PPSA) and the title of EFIAP/gold (Excellence Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique GOLD). He was recognized for his photographic ‘Excellence’ (EPSA) in 2011. He enjoys showing his images in International Exhibitions and has over 1,400 acceptances in International Photographic Exhibitions, including more than 250 Medals and other awards. His photography has been published all over the world in photo magazines & books, in calendars, and on television and the internet.

Marcel moves as a photographer ideally in the field of surrealism and magic realism. He prefers to create composite photographic images inspired by everyday reality combined with his own imagination. He strives to carefully compose photographic compositions of realistic looking scenes in unreal and sometimes magical spheres.
