EPSA Gallery: Evelyn Greaves, FPSA, EPSA
Evelyn was from Collinsville, IL. She joined PSA in 1979 and was very active in PSA functions. She received an FPSA in 1994 and earned the EPSA Distinction in 2001. She received the Harold Lorimor award in 1987 and a Gold Editorial Star in 2005. Her club affiliations included the St. Louis Camera Club and the Collinsville Area Camera Club. An avid photographer and International Exhibition entrant, she had earned numerous PSA Star Ratings and Galaxies. Evelyn enjoyed photographing the people of the world in their natural setting and animals in the wilds of Africa, Churchill, India, the Galapagos, Antarctica or anywhere that is fun and interesting. She had visited more than 100 countries and every continent except Australia. Evelyn was the Editorial Vice Chair of the Photo Travel Division (PTD) from 1984-86, First Vice Chair of the PTD from 1994-96, and Chaired the PSA Honors Committee in 2001. She served as Director of the Color Slide Division (CSD) Exhibition Standards, was Chair of the Who's Who Committee for the CSD for at least ten years, and had been the Director of the CSD Galaxies Program for over 20 years when she passed away in January, 2010. Evelyn enjoyed every minute with PSA and the many friends she made as a member.
