EPSA Gallery: Walter Gaberthüel, EPSA
He added landscape photography to his repertoire when he moved to Italy in 1992 and found its scenery offered him a natural universe to transfigure in dreamlike and lyrical interpretations. In 2000 he won the World Cup for black and white photos and in 2001, he repeated this achievement with the Italian team, winning Best Artist for Coloured Photos. He published his first book of black and white photos, "Views and Visions" with text by Timur Lenk in Italian, English, and German. In 2010, he published a book of landscapes called "Terre della Pergola."

Walter was born in Switzerland in 1948 and was an avid athlete before switching to sports photography in 1980. He joined PSA in 1981. He won many national and international contests with his sports photography. In 1986 he received the AFIAP and in 1990, the EFIAP. He earned his PPSA in 2005 and his EPSA in 2012.
