EPSA Gallery: Stephen Byard, EPSA
Stephen Byard was born in Gloucester, England. He has a degree in Pure mathematics and computing and operates a software consultancy set up in 1991. He has been photographing the landscape since the late 1960's, mainly in England, Wales, and Scotland. In 1992 he moved to North Yorkshire, a quiet English county that stands apart from the hustle and bustle of modern life. He joined Northallerton Camera club in 2006 after rediscovering digital photography following a long break.
Stephen has since won the UK's largest maritime photography competition, 'Wish You Were Here.' He judges at camera clubs and also runs landscape photography and Photoshop workshops. Companies around the world both large and small use his images. His pictures have also appeared in magazines. His current portfolio also includes nature, creative, and portrait work.
In 2010 he was awarded the DPAGB, in June 2011 he earned his AFIAP, in June 2012 he earned his EFIAP, and in July 2012 his EPSA was confirmed.
