Projected Image Division (PID): Image of the Year Competition
EligibilityAll images by a PSA member that have received a Gold, Silver, or Bronze PSA Medal (whether in an Open or Theme section) in a PSA-recognized PID Exhibition during the previous calendar year, are eligible for this free Image of the Year competition. Both slides and digital images are eligible. All slide entries must be scanned and submitted as a digital image. All eligible entrants will receive an email invitation from the PID Image of the Year Director. This invitation will list the titles of the photos the member has that are eligible. Additionally, there will be instructions regarding how and where to enter online. Entries for each calendar year of Exhibitions are due by July 1 of the following year and will be judged prior to the PSA Annual Conference. Images are not to be submitted prior to receiving the invitation entry form from the Director. AwardsThree awards are presented: a First, Second, and Third Place. The plaque awarded includes the member’s name, the title of their winning image, and the award name. An individual is eligible to win only one Image of the Year award. The winning images are shown at the PSA Annual Conference, displayed on the PSA web site, and presented in the PSA Journal. The Awards are presented to the winners, if present, at the PID Luncheon at the PSA Annual Conference. Awards are mailed to those who cannot attend the Conference. Results
