Photojournalism Division (PJD): Published Picture of the Year Award
This program provides a prestigious award and honor for the published picture selected as the best by a PSA member during the previous calendar year. This award is known as the "Ollie Fife Award" in honor of the late Ollie Fife, FPSA, of Alexandria, VA.
An entrant may submit up to five entries in each of the following four categories: News (including breaking news and scheduled non-sporting events); Sports (activity involving any kind of race or athletic endeavor); Feature (including human interest and "found" humor on any subject including sports); Picture Story - Multiple (more than one photograph published together to tell the story).
Entries must have been published during the previous calendar year, and must meet the PJD definition. Submit tear sheets only, showing publication date and photo credit (no original photographs).
Eligibility & Rules
PSA membership is required. Participating in this program does not provide an individual with membership in the Photojournalism Division.
