Eligibility

All images by a PSA member that have received a medal or other award higher than an Honorable Mention in a PSA-recognized EID Exhibition for the previous year, are eligible for this free Image of the Year competition. 

Entry

All eligible entrants will receive an email invitation from the EID Photo of the Year Director. This invitation will list the titles of the photos the member has that are eligible. Additionally, there will be instructions regarding how and where to enter online.

Entries for each calendar year of Exhibitions are due by August 15 of the following year and will be judged during the PSA Annual Conference. Images are not to be submitted prior to receiving the invitation entry form from the Director.

Awards

A plaque showing the winning image is presented for the EID Image of the Year in two categories: General and Creative. The winning images are shown at the PSA Annual Conference and are displayed in galleries linked from this webpage. The Image of the Year plaques are presented to the winners, if present, at the EID Luncheon during the PSA Annual Conference. The plaques are mailed to those who cannot attend the Conference.
