Color Projected Image Division (CPID): Interclub Competition
This CPID activity holds four competitions for PSA-member Clubs from around the world each competition year. Clubs are placed in one of four groups (A through D) of approximately 25 clubs per group, depending on where the club finished in the previous competition year. A new club starts in the lowest group and moves up to the next highest group, if the club finishes in the top five of that group of clubs at the end of the competition year. Competitions (Rounds) are held in October, December, February, and April. The closing date for each competition is the 1st of the month. The images for each competition (Round) are judged by other participating clubs, but never by a club in the group where the club is participating. Winning images are awarded Award of Merit (Blue Ribbon) or Honorable Mention (Red Ribbon). The winning Award of Merit images are entered into the Best of the Best (BOB) competition in June. The top scoring five images in each group receive medals and the "Best of the Best" receives a plaque. After the Best of the Best competition all the winning images from the competition year, both Award of Merit and Honorable Mention, are placed on a DVD that each participating club receives following the PSA Annual Conference. The CPID Interclub Best of the Best program is also presented each year at the PSA Conference. Eligibility & RulesAll participating clubs must have email capability.
