CPID Creative Interclub: 2011-2012 Creative Interclub Rules
- A PSA-member club may enter six digital files in each competition.
- Entries are not limited as to subject matter or treatment but they must be the work of a club member and must be submitted by the deadline. No person may have more than two digital files entered in any one competition round, even though they may be a member of more than one registered club. In the event of excessive entries by one person, all but the two highest scoring digital files entered by that person will be disqualified.
- Award of Merit and Honorable Mention digital files may never again be entered and, if re-entered will be disqualified; this includes such slides that might be converted to a digital format. Identical or near-duplicate digital files may not be entered in the same season. Disqualified digital files will not receive points.
- All digital entries must be submitted via a direct link online. Original image file names may be used as they will be renamed as required for the competition. An acknowledgment of receipt email message will be sent for all digital submissions.
- By submitting an image to a competition, the maker agrees to allow PSA/CPID to use it for promotional and educational purposes, handouts, viewing on the PSA website, the year-end show, the DVD of that show that is sent to participating clubs, and any other promotional need PSA/CPID may have.
- The Closing Date for all 4 competitions is the first of that month. The Judging club should judge the entries within 21 days of the competition closing date. If a club's entry arrives after the deadline, the club will generally have the privilege of submitting a makeup entry in the next competition. The judging club may choose to judge entries that arrive after the deadline, but before the Judging as long as this can be accomplished on a non-interference basis. In the event that an entry is not judged, the Judging Club is responsible for notifying the club submitting the entry, in addition to the Competitions Director.
- For each group competition, the Judging Club shall select 6 Award of Merit and 6-8 Honorable Mention images. All Award of Merit images will be included in a End of Year competition that will result in the selection of 6 Best of the Best for each group. A single Best of the Best image will be chosen from those 12 images.
