Color Projected Image Division (CPID): Basics & Background

The Color Projected Image Division is PSA's largest Division. This Division provides activities for any PSA-member club or individual with an interest in projected images whether they are from digital files or slides, regardless of the subject matter. This includes Study Groups; Creative, Portrait, and Photo Essay Contests; and an Image of the Year Competition; as well as two Interclub Competitions.

Definition
The content or subject matter of an image submitted to a CPID program or activity is unrestricted.  There may be a theme specified for some PSA-recognized CPID exhibitions and the exhibition's definition of the theme should be consulted.

Division Membership
PSA members qualify for membership of the Color Projected Image Division (CPID) by: being an Officer or Director in the CPID, earning a Star Rating in the CPID*, participating in the Individual Creative Competitions or the Photo Essay Contest in the CPID, or participating in a Study Group in the CPID.
In terms of Star awards, an "active"  member is considered as one who had participated in the last 11 years.
